* The IPPA Student World Congress registration is exclusively for full-time students enrolled in an accredited college, university, or graduate program in an area of study related to psychology, positive psychology, or similar fields. Proof of enrollment (current unofficial transcript or current student ID with dates) will be needed upon purchase to receive the discounted rate.
** The IPPA Developing Country World Congress registration is exclusively for those attendees travelling from a primary residence within a country recognised as ‘developing’ by the UN.

Group Registration
A group registration discount is available for groups of 10 registrants who are from the same company/organisation. A discount of $125 AUD is available for all registrants in the group.
Pre-Congress Half-Day Workshops
IPPA 2025 World Congress Pre-Congress Half-Day Workshops are optional and separate from the Congress Program. Workshops will take place on Wednesday 2 July 2025.

Scholarship Fund Donations
The IPPA 2025 World Congress Scholarship Donation Fund helps IPPA extend opportunities to those who are passionate about positive psychology but may not be in a financial position to attend IPPA events such as the World Congress. Donations can be made via the online registration form. As an acknowledgement of your contribution, your name will be listed on an exclusive page on our World Congress Website!

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
The IPPA 2025 World Congress Welcome Reception will take place within the Exhibition at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre and will be the perfect way to kick off the Congress. Catch up with friends and colleagues and network with sponsors, exhibitors and other delegates.
One ticket to the Welcome Reception is included in each full delegate registration with additional tickets available to purchase in the online registration form. Day registration delegates have the opportunity to purchase a ticket through the online registration form.
IPPA 2025 World Congress Dinner
Thursday 3 July 2025
Brisbane City Hall, 64 Adelaide Street, Brisbane
The IPPA 2025 World Congress Dinner will take place at the Iconic Brisbane City Hall in the Main Auditorium. Enjoy an evening of food and beverages, live music and dancing all whilst admiring the heritage listed City Hall in the heart of Brisbane City.
Tickets are available to purchase through the registration form for $135 each. A ticket to the Congress Dinner is included for Developing country registrations.
Registration Cancellation Policy
- Payment can be made online by credit card, or a tax invoice provided with EFT details. Overseas registrants should make payments in Australian Dollars and ensure the transfer bank fee is included in their payment.
- Credit cards accepted include Visa and Mastercard.
In order to receive the early bird registration rate, registrants must register and pay in full by Midnight AEST Friday 31 January 2025. If Payment is not received by this date, then registrations will be automatically transferred to the standard registration rate and the invoice reissued.
Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Congress Secretariat. Cancellations made by 2 May 2025 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by 30 June 2025, without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after 2 May 2025, will only be made in exceptional circumstances. The host reserves the final decision on a case-by-case basis for granting a cancellation in extenuating circumstances. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registering. The Congress Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers of registrations.
Delegates must note that some social functions may reach their capacity limits and tickets are only guaranteed on a first come first served basis. From 2 May 2025, no refunds will be provided for a transfer of registration. There will be no cancellation allowance for failure to secure a visa to Australia. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registration. The Congress Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.

The Congress and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The host and the Congress Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the host and the Congress Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Congress does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.
